Relating with Buddha, Yourself
Jun 01, 2025
Because the Buddhas embody everything that we are without missing, they encourage us to relieve ourselves of all of the compounded identities we carry.
The Buddhas are no different, not separate from ourselves, our own bodies––the Buddhas are our bodies.
We ourselves are the Buddhas, we are no different from the Buddhas.
As we unburden ourselves, our bodies, of the compounded identities we carry, we are welcomed with open arms...as we release our heavy identities, we infuse ourselves into Buddhahood, remembering our true face.
We are no different.
The strength and brilliance of reality is such that in genuinely connecting with the Dharma, you are led. We are all led by truth, the truth of our beingness, the truth of the Buddhas.
This is not a belief system, it is the living potential of our embodiment.
In my genuine connection and full surrender to the Dharma, the lineage furnished me with teachers and guides, the lineage itself showed me the way...I believe this is possible for many, not just me. We are in a time when the teachings are available, books, recordings, endless content and material, you can seek this out, however a genuine lineage connection is the main guide, the main guru, the main teacher. It is a felt reality. It is an honest relationship. After sometime you will come to see this lineage connection is no different than your own mind stream, your own brilliant radiance of being, your own awareness.
When we open ourselves to the Buddhas, to a genuinely divine connection–a connection with reality–and come into right relationship with that connection they will show you the way...the way back into yourself.
In this approach we take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Lineage. The Sangha is the context in which it unfolds, however it has to begin with yourself. You with you. The lineage is presenting itself to us without pomp and circumstance, without hierarchy or institution…offering direct connection, without mediation. How will you show up to that connection?
This is exceedingly simple. Simple doesn't mean easy. It means we must simplify, clarify, and discover our relationship with reality such that no duality is present, no subject and object, no power dynamics, no codependency, no games, no hiding, no denial, no roles, no nothing. We discover this in ourselves and the closer and closer we come into our truth, our intimacy, our clarity.
This isn’t Buddhism, this is simply connection with the Buddhas, with yourself. With relating with reality. It already is and yet, until it is known without any doubt or confusion, until it is a living fullness, it is a journey one must go on.
This is a path of relating with ourselves, with the truth of our being, with the Buddhas - who and what we truly are.
