A direct introduction to how awakening moves through form.

This piece offers the foundation for what I call The Cosmology of the Awakened Body -- a living framework of awakening through form. It articulates the orientation that underlies all my work: that awakening is not an attainment, but a natural flowering of reality through the body, relationship, and coherent structure. It begins with a simple premise: awakening is a given, and what we cultivate is the readiness of form to know itself as truth.

The question spontaneously arose, “how to frame this teaching?” And I almost missed it. But then sentences just started arriving, arising. And I realized those sentences were a response from the field directly.

So, how to frame this teaching?

In this approach, in this tradition, if you wish to use that word, we take awakening as a given. So, if you do not believe that awakening is for you, or that you do not deserve it, are not good enough, or can't possibly “achieve” that, you may like to start elsewhere. Because here, we just take that as a given. That each one of us who encounters these teachings, can and will wake up to the truth of their being, to their true nature.

In some ways, that isn't the challenging part. That happens of its own accord, its own wisdom and we simply align with the mystery that enables the truth of reality to penetrate us.

So, we don't over complicate that part. We do not make it more demanding or effortful than it needs to be. Because, indeed, you cannot effort or will your way to Reality, because reality is always already right here.

What we can work on and work with is the form. Quite literally, the form that Reality takes.

In the simplest expression the form is your body. Your bodymind, your nervous system. All of the elements and aspects that make up your beingness, Pure Beingness.

And the deeper the awakening goes, the more it seeks to in–form. Literally in–forming, the bodymind of Reality. 

So, we focus on refinement: clearing, purifying, harmonizing, reordering, reorganizing, restructuring.
Refining the bodymind.

This is where we focus, and this is what carries us through, from before awakening, straight through to enlightenment: Full Divine Embodiment. Because It is true that all of the layers, levels, juncture points, connections, elements, aspects, every cell, molecule–everything can come to know what is and that full, un-compromised knowing; Beyond knower and known, beyond the process of knowing, beyond recognition. Simply deepening as what is. No contraction, no remnant of separation, no echo, memory or impulse.

When everything has been returned, relinquished, re–membered, stitched back together, that we can call enlightenment.

It is incredibly simple.

Right now for most people encountering these words, this pointing, the experience of self is small, limited, constrained, confined, full of walls and barriers. That limited existence is a structural reality. It structures experience. It structures experiencing. It is not simply a lens through which the world is viewed and oneself is seen. It is the substrate. It is the subtle architecture. It is the style of ensoulment.

And that subtle architecture, that structural configuration of the body, mind, and nervous system, can be felt and known and worked with directly, such that all contractions are released, all gaps and fissures and wounds are reintegrated.

And all lost, exiled, hidden, unknown parts and threads and experiences and feelings and emotions and past lives and knowledge and remembering, is all woven back into the Wholeness, the tapestry, the patchwork that is yours to fully reclaim and remember in this lifetime.

Time is of no consequence.

We work in and through the bodymind. We relieve it of the structures of time, and we allow all to be revealed to itself, for itself, and by itself. All this is the refinement of form.

If we are to allow the formless reality of what is to fully know itself, we must ready the temple.
