Touching Wholeness

Reflections on embodied coherence from Darananda

There is no need to leave the body

Jan 19, 2026

Over the past month, a series of understandings have been clarifying themselves through lived experience, ritual, and daily practice. What follows is not a teaching or a method, but a reflection; an articulation of what settles when presence is allowed to meet the body fully, rather than bypass it.

Nothing here is something to adopt, practice, or achieve. Let this be a window rather than a map, something to look through, not something to follow.

Along the path of awakening there is no need to leave the body, even if you are seeking full enlightenment.

There is no need, and no good comes from leaving the body.

If you struggle with embodiment – with being in the body, with dissociation – it is because the body is full of stuff: unprocessed material, yours and others’, that it needs to be clear of.

The body needs to be cleared of everything that is being held, stored, carried — all of the burdens and beliefs.
This is the path.
Full divine embodiment.

No personhood.
Just pure awareness.

Everything that we experience is because of separation.

It is not a problem.

Separation enables us to grow and mature and learn. And the mind as we know it, it only exists because of separation.

However, there comes a time when that separation can be set down, it can be put aside. Recognized that it's just one of the other features or factors or aspects of the wholeness.

So in a way, it can still exist, but it doesn't exist as the central organizing principle of beingness. It's more like delineation or differentiation.

There is a way separation went too deep, too far into itself, and got it a little bit lost.

What is happening now is not elimination, not transcendence, but return – we're just bringing separation back into the wholeness, back into the balance.

The ego can know itself as wholeness.

That it came from wholeness and is wholeness, and does not have to be separate. The ego is just a part in the wholeness and a part of wholeness. It is not singular.

(May we release all that we are carrying for others...)

  • Personal
  • Familial
  • Ancestral
  • Collective
  • Past life/karmic
  • Personhood (the relational interface)

The body is beyond all that.

The body is just body — the human interface,
the incarnational vehicle.
